Baited

The game of life, can be so cruel, when
thinking, we don't need the rules! They're put in
place, to keep us secure...but it's more fun
to be impure! Yet, that's the sneaky lie!
It's cleverly disguised, as something fun!
At times, when we're searching, grasping for the
truth, we're being set up, baited with a
hook! We don't realize, till the hole's in
our lip, we fell for a devious trick!
Reality makes us bleed! It reveals
those hidden things! Shame causes us to dive
for the darkest cave, thinking, hiding will
ease our pain but when we're cold and alone,
we crave the light! Seek truth and question the
things you let inside! Guard your heart! Guard your
mind! And filter out, the destructive lies!
