The Vine

I dreamt, I was walking
and talking with God.
I felt a calm feeling,
of peace and true laud.

New life was extending
from His hand to mine.
So vibrant, yet simple!
The shape of a vine!

He informed me, "This plant,
has roots, that grow deep,
around a foundation,
that profits, it's keep!"

He said, "If you water,
and keep it alive,
the branch will grow stronger
and help you to thrive!

If you stay on the vine,
with you, I'll abide,
you'll produce so much fruit,
you'll be satisfied!"
