Forming A Jagged, Stony Heart

When
you don't
give up your
burden, it becomes,
a heavy stone! The stones,
you choose to carry,
can make you
feel,
alone!
Loneliness
builds apathy,
and starts to agitate!
You become so bothered,
accepting Satan's bait! The words,
that once pierced you,
become your jabs
of hate,
continuing
the cycle, that caused
you to deflate! You carry forth,
your judgement, refusing to relate!
Aloof to prideful character,
you choose to
instigate!
When
somebody,
rebukes you, your
hardened heart, can't take!
You decide to disregard them
and ferociously debate! You won't
accept correction and so, the
fool you'll stay...because
those stones, you
carried, instead
of, gave
away!
