Righteous Depiction

We don't take the time,
to think about,
how we affect,
another!
We minimize,
our hurtful words...
and expect them,
to recover!
How are we,
so confused?
Okay with our self-righteous
attitude!
Setting up a scapegoat,
to camouflage our pride!
We say,
"Don't point out the flaws,
within the church!
Don't focus on them,
because it hurts!
That's the way it is,
because we're all sinners!"
So, sin multiplies!
Yet, we think,
we're winners?
"We're all saved by grace,
and so, we excuse it!"
But they're not saved,
when they just, abuse it!
How are people,
to be accountable,
if they don't know,
they're wrong?
It's very easy,
to reason out,
so that we all belong!
If we're all,
in agreement,
that sin,
has appeasement,
without repenting,
in the throng,
well then, I'm sorry,
but you've changed the story...
and apostacy,
isn't far off!
Jesus is coming back!
He's going to separate,
the goats, from the sheep!
He said, they were in his own fold,
those goats,
that wouldn't atone!
They're the ones,
who spread around gossip,
without giving a care,
for the truth!
They're the ones,
who refuse to be humble!
They're hardened from pride...
and aloof!
And we laugh it away,
like, "No problem!
That's just their personality!"
But they need to be told,
that they've fallen,
before God's judgement,
shows them reality!
Because on that day,
they'll be asking,
"Why didn't anyone tell me?
I didn't know, I had to care,
for their feelings!"
Well tell me, what did you think,
that love means?
They'll say, "Lord, I love you!
Look at what I've done!"
He'll reply, "I don't know you!
Your words, tore everyone!"
Then, they'll be herded away,
to be thrown in the fire...
because their god,
was their own, selfish desires!
They wasted their life,
looking down their nose,
at the weaknesses of others,
while their heart decomposed!
They thought, they were so righteous,
as they clothed and fed the poor!
They focused, on the physical!
It was easy keeping score!
But clothing someone,
is a spiritual need!
It's when we treat a person,
with dignity!
When we lift someone higher,
their soul, feels lifted up!
That's how we feed somebody
and put water in their cup!
If we all, would give encouragement
and humbly, shine a light,
show them, what the truth is...
and tell them, to live right,
then we would see, some progress!
They'd build, an appetite!
Love, when done correctly,
always leads to insight!
I'm really tired,
of all the Christians, saying,
"Look at me and what I've done!"
When they won't apologize,
to someone, they say, they love!
They won't apologize,
because it makes them feel,
undignified!
Yet, by not acknowledging,
their offence,
it turns the tables...
and undignified,
they become!
Hidden shame,
always reveals itself!
The tongue utters,
what our mind,
hasn't figured out.
The heart, masks pain,
through pride,
as we lie...and deny...
because it's easier,
to be on defense
and have a certain arrogance,
then to admit,
that we might have failed the test!
Repent!
That's what the Bible says,
recognize your sin...
and turn from it!
Not just repenting to God,
but to each other!
That's how we love,
one another!
Let the fruits of the Spirit,
come alive!
Turn from pride!
Be unified!
Unified!

Leviticus 4 (This whole chapter shows us that there is such a thing as unintentional sin that needs to be repented for. God hates it, when we excuse our sin after someone has pointed it out to us and we simply say, "It was unintentional!" As if that justifies it! God still calls it sin, even if our pride, has blocked out discernment for it and God expects us to repent for this sin, when we become aware of it. Sin is sin because of it's effects.)

Leviticus 16:10 & Leviticus 16:21-22 (These verses explain what a scapegoat was initially used for...but in our modern times, scapegoating refers to singling out a person in a group situation, family, church, etc. and labeling them as the problem, so that the sins of others are not exposed or dealt with.)
