Words Like Water

Oh child, there will be times, some, will try to break you down!
Remember, who you are! With emotions, you can drown!
Words are just like water! They're so easy, to drink in!
Sometimes, they're very smooth...but sometimes, ferocious sin!

Some words will exhilarate...and some words, seem so thin.
Some, filled with excuses! You will feel like, you can't win!
Love can be a language, too confusing, for the meek!
A coiling snake, all twisted...yet, still appearing sleek!

Your judgement, will have to be, the sword against the lies!
But know that your perceptions, will sometimes be unwise!
So, talk about your problem, to get a different view...
and realize, your loved ones, all want the best for you!
