Snake Vs. Dove

Wise, wary, shrewd, prudent,
smart, cunning, clever, sly,
intelligent snake,
not calling attention to yourself!
Yet, ready to strike, at just the right time!
You're deliberately calm...
and armed with provision!
When provoked, you unwind,
circle...and confront the deceptive!

Pure, harmless, chaste, content,
good, gentle, faultless, nice,
inoffensive dove,
not wanting to aggrieve someone else!
Yet, ready to fly, if you're feeling eyed!
You're consciously composed...
and skilled with perception!
When enticed, you desist,
invoke...and affirm God's perspective!

Meek, honest, kind, patient,
mild, gracious, loyal, bright,
obedient sheep,
not fretting, when persecution's dealt!
Yet, ready to guard, from wolves that preside!
You're courageously poised...
and led by the spirit!
When tempted, you discern,
pursue...and follow God's objective!
