When We Pray

When we pray, there is something,
that happens deep within.
There's a stirring movement,
in our spirit, under skin!

A powerful unity,
that's hard to understand.
A personal exposure,
connecting God to man.

When praying, we realize,
we must give up control!
Acceptance and agreement,
beckons our searching soul.

We're sanctified! Redeemed!
We know, we are fully known!
God rounds off our corners,
as He fills us up with hope!
