Trailblazing

Lord, here's a question,
I need to ask,
Would you show the way?
Could you mark my path?

I'm trailblazing something new.
I know that you will see me through.
Trailblazing something new!
Is it for you? For you?

Never have I been,
the one who wanted this!
Uncomfortable with me,
I hold it all within!

And I...
feel alive...
yet, tied...
contrived!

I feel you pushing...
and it's all blue skies.
Yet, I fear the dives.
Give me more time!

I'm shaking like the
leaves, surrounding.
I want to blend in...
so, I'm dancing!

I don't want to break free...
or blow off that tree...
but my colors are changing...
and you knew it would be!

I'm trailblazing something new.
I know that you will see me through.
Trailblazing something new!
