Children of Purpose

She was searching, so, she asked me,
if I had, what she was missing!
I shook my head, yet, I could see,
she had the eyes, of disbelief!

Then she fumbled, in her pocket...
and found the thing, that she desired!
She said, "Sorry!" then she passed me...
but I wondered, why she judged me!

Why are we so apt,
to blame another?
When we hold the treasure,
yet to be discovered!

Somewhere in our soul,
we know, the path to hope...
but still, we find we're searching,
for a place, that feels like home!

Even before the beginning of time,
God saw our birth...and claimed, "They're mine!"
We are children of purpose, children of light!
This is our moment. Our moment, is life!

There is nothing, there is no one,
that can block us, from God's great love!
He created something different,
in each one, to show, He's present!

God sees us now, even our death,
so we can trust, He guides our steps!
We've a knowledge, the world can't grasp...
and yet, we're prone to wear a mask!

Why are we so apt,
to show resistance?
When we hold a promise,
yet to come, into fruition!

Somewhere in our core,
a key unlocks the door...
but still, we get frustrated,
as our flesh desires more!

Even before the beginning of time,
God saw our birth...and claimed, "They're mine!"
We are children of purpose, children of light!
This is our moment. Our moment, is life!

So, we feel a longing,
for something we've been missing,
only to discover,
it was always, in our keeping!

A dream was placed, upon our path,
long before our birth!
Just because we haven't reached it,
doesn't mean, it's not of worth!

Sometimes, we can't see,
that the very thing we need,
has been hidden, deep inside us,
planted like a seed!

So, how do we unearth it?
Faith has a purpose!
As we grow, we will learn,
that God's timing, is perfect!
