Lord, we ask for your forgiveness.
You alone, removes our sin.
We come to you, as one body.
Heal us, from our pride within.

We have welcomed wrongful thinking.
Disrespect has plagued our tongues.
We dishonor those around us,
judging hearts, that seek out love.

From your throne, flows a powerful river,
cleansing those, who dare to ask.
We come to you, joining together.
Heal us, from our painful past.

Wash us in your holy water.
Wash us in your holiness.
We lift up your sons and daughters.
Wash us in your holiness.

Lord, we thank you for your patience.
You alone, be glorified.
We come to you, in repentance.
Through your love, we're dignified.

We welcome you, Holy Spirit,
Guide us on an even path.
Break the head of any idol.
Break the spoon, that stirs up wrath.
